ABRA to Start Supporting Native Litecoin (LTC) Transactions and USD Wire

Abra mobile crypto wallet CEO Bill Barhydt has exciting news for investors. He just tweeted that the Abra app will support Litecoin (LTC) deposits, withdrawals, and USD wire transfers with the next update. It seems that Litecoin managed to successfully pass the rigid analysis involving liquidity and contract market making.

Abra CEO announced support for 25 cryptos

“#Monero (XMR), #NEO (NEO), #NEM (XEM), #Lisk (LSK), and #Verge (XVG) are now live on Abra! 👀 We’re now at 25 cryptocurrencies and counting. Next up: native litecoin deposits and withdrawals and USD wire support directly via the Abra app for those who don’t want to use ACH,” Barhydt posted on Twitter.

A user inquired “Why not buy BTC or LTC from your native exchange and send it to @AbraGlobal? When you need to move into stable fiat, do it on the app by selecting your national currency and when you need to cash out, send BTC/LTC back to your exchange for settlement?” We’ll just have to wait and see re of Abra’s future plans and the approach it will take down the road.

Litecoin is the native currency of the Litecoin blockchain which is priced at $135.18 on CoinMarketCap.

LTC’s prices fell at a rate of 9.47%, and the crypto is currently placed on the 6th position in the market with a total market cap of $7.6 million.

Abra revealed that the platform is trading 25 cryptos and 50 fiat currencies. It also announced that the latest version of the mobile app is currently supporting more than 75 different currencies.

Abra wallet offers high security for users

The wallet’s users can retain control of their private key at all times, and this means that they don’t have to ever worry about losing their assets in the event in which the wallet gets hacked.

This makes the wallet non-custodial.

Abra is an investing app that comes with an integrated cryptocurrency wallet but it’s not a full-fledged crypto exchange for the moment.
