Binance Adds 12 New Cryptos To The US Exchange – VeChain (VET) Surges Following The News

Binance was recently in the spotlight in relation to a BitMEX leak that we addressed not too long ago.

BitMEX is the largest Bitcoin and crypto derivatives exchange, and it has recently released a statement regarding a security breach involving email addresses that are linked to their users’ accounts.

According to the info coming from the online publication the Daily Hodl, it seems that “instead of blind-copying customers on an announcement, BitMEX issued an email to customers that revealed the addresses of the recipients.”

The platform also made sure to apologize to users.

It’s also worth noting that Binance warned its users to change their passwords as soon as possible if they also have a BitMEX account that uses the same password.

Binance.US adds new digital assets

Binance.US just added some new digital assets to the platform, and among the latest additions, there’s also VeChain (VET) as well.

The online publication the Daily Hodl reported that VET surged following the news.

VET is paired with the stablecoin Tether.

At the moment of writing this article, VET is trading in the green on CMC and the coin is priced at $0.005584.

The platform also supports Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, Binance Coin, Cardano, Basic Attention Token, Ethereum Classic, Stellar, and 0x.

You may recall that Binance.US was launched back on September 24th.

Binance.US receives positive feedback on social media

It’s been reported that Binance.US is considering the addition of several more crypto assets, including Holochain, Loom Network, Decentraland, Nano, Paxos, Augur, TrueUSD, USD Coin and Zilliqa, according to the latest info from the Daily Hodl.

On Twitter, people were excited after reading the announcement, and they made sure to congratulate the platform.

They also came up with new propositions for later additions, but a lot of Twitter users said that they will start using Binance.US from now on.
