Cardano (ADA) CEO, Charles Hoskinson, Announced The Upcoming ADA Wallet

Charles Hoskinson, the founder and CEO of Cardano (ADA) and IOHK, has just tweeted about the future Cardano (ADA) wallet, a complementary digital purse for Daedalus.

“Now for that promised end of month ANN. A new wallet is coming soon to the Cardano ecosystem. It’s really exciting and complimentary to Daedalus. I think people are really going to like it. Details coming in August,” tweeted Charles Hoskinson.

The announcement posted by the Cardano (ADA) CEO has already raised a whole bunch of reactions on Twitter and other social networks. The feedback was generally a positive one, but there were also some cryptocurrency enthusiasts that added some new features to the community “wish-list” regarding the future ADA wallet.

Therefore, one user, a self-entitled a cryptocurrency investor, hopes the upcoming wallet will feature the long-awaited staking feature, while another crypto enthusiast was hoping Cardano will release an online wallet, eventually.

The new ADA wallet, announced by Cardano (ADA) CEO, comes as a complementary one for the Daedalus wallet

The Cardano (ADA) Daedalus wallet has just been rolled out in its fully operational version in early-June, but some issues have been reported back then. However, the IOHK team addressed the reported bugs promptly and eventually provided a 100% working product.

In order to clear the path to straightforward implementation of future improvements and to simplify the code, the devs extracted IPC logic (Inter-Process Communication) between the central layer and the rendering process in another layer of the Daedalus wallet.

Besides what Charles Hoskinson, Cardano (ADA) CEO, tweeted, there is nothing else known about the new ADA wallet. As Hoskinson pointed out, the upcoming Cardano (ADA) wallet will be a new and complementary product to the Daedalus wallet, which means that both portfolios will run inter-connected.

As Hoskinson said, more details on the new ADA wallet (maybe the launch, too) will be released in August.
