Monero (XMR) Is Looking For Consolidation – Monero Meetings, Coming Up

Monero has been in the spotlight a lot this year, and the privacy-oriented coin is definitely gaining more recognition.

More investors are considering the coin a viable investment option for the future due to its privacy-oriented features.

Regarding the XMR price, at the moment of writing this article, XMR is priced $79.94 and the coin is trading in the red on CMC. Some experts are expecting XMR to drop to $70 before surging again.

Monero GUI Windows Installer

The Monero GUI Windows Installer has been released, Ourbitcoinnews reported.

“CLI v0.14.1.2 “Boron Butterfly” was unveiled, which took care of some bugs plaguing the network. Tails OS integration for the GUI ended up being merged together. The Monero Tip Bot on Reddit had a v0.8 release,” according to the online publication.

The article also reads “You can preload XMR ZEC ZER PIVX and ARRR on this privacy-focused node. If you have a USB HD, running BTC is possible as well.”

It’s also worth noting that a Research Lab Meeting and a Monero GUI meeting will take place on 29th and 30th July respectively.

Monero Village DefCon 2019

There’s an important upcoming event scheduled for the Monero community.

Monero Village DefCon 2019 will take place between August 8 and August 11.

According to the official website, the Monero Village has been created by Monero community members with the main goal of “teaching others about, and spreading awareness of, the cryptocurrency Monero, and what it adds to both the cryptocurrency space, as well as the global privacy conversation.”

It’s also worth noting that the goal of this event is to educate others on Monero and how the project benefits the crypto space.

“Utilizing concepts from blockchain, economics, cryptography, and privacy technologies, Monero stands head and shoulders above other cryptocurrencies, because of its radical approach to privacy and liberty,” according to the official notes.
