New ES6 JavaScript Monero Library Is Now Accessible Via GitHub

The new ES6 JavaScript Monero Library is actually release 0.1.0, and it’s accessible via both GitHub and npm, according to a post on Reddit.

Major features included in the latest release

The Redditor who released the new ES6 JavaScript library noted that the “major features include complete JSON-RPC wrapping (most libraries lack many of the new 0.12 JSON-RPC methods,) autoconnection (if you’re running a local node on a typical port it “just works” without configuration, and if you aren’t then it will connect to a remote node from a configurable list,) ES6 promise-based syntax, and almost-exhaustive unit tests.”

The Redditor also said that Version 0.1.1 would see complete unit tests because currently the multisig unit tests are not finalized.

Monero encapsulates total security and privacy

Monero has been recently quite a lot in the spotlight, mainly due to its security features.

Satoshi’s masterpiece gave the world more gifts back in 2008, but the most important ones are definitely involving anonymity and personal security.

The cryptosphere was supposed to hide users from all kinds of prying eyes of the traditional institutions lurking around.

Before crypto was developed, it was not just only one bank who was lurking in the shadows, it was all of them because every traditional bank shared names, financial statistics, social security numbers, relationships and more.

Whatever data you offer a bank, it will get shared with other banks as well.

Most cryptos such as Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum involve complete transparency and with this comes high public exposure.

Monero is able to eliminate such exposure and using XMR is totally anonymous as long as you will not choose to expose your key and tie it to your identity.

As a conclusion Monero encapsulates total security that was envisioned by Satoshi himself. The Monero developments are continually advancing with more and more enthusiasts from the community taking part in the projects.
