Trader Moves Almost 100 Million XRP – Transaction Is Priced Less Than 1 Penny

There are all kinds of crypto moves taking place these days, and some of them raise questions.

A huge XRP transaction cost less than a penny

It’s been revealed that the traders are currently tracking a transfer of 99,999,900 XRP which is worth about $27 million.

The Daily Hodl reported that, according to Whale Alert, this transaction happened between two wallets of an unknown origin.

More than that, it seems that the XRP explorer Bithomp says the transfer cost less than…1 penny!

It’s been also revealed that the receiving address has not been identified by Whale Alert.

A crypto analyst known as Light Crypto said that the XRP may have been transferred to a known market maker.

This is because the wallet that received the XRP has sent dozens of transactions to an address that has been created by Singapore-based crypto trading platform called Triple Dice Exchange, Bithomp said.

XRP transactions surged by 7 times since Q1 2019

Both Ripple and XRP have had a great year so far, marking all kinds of achievements.

It’s also worth noting that Ripple says that there’s been a surge in the XRP-based remittance network.

The company said that ODL had increased seven-fold since the first quarter of this year.

On-Demand Liquidity is the rebranded notion for xRapid; as you know, not too long ago, Ripple debuted a rebranding process for its products.

“In less than a year since the commercialization of ODL, we have seen tremendous growth and customer interest with two dozen customers signed on to use the product,” according to the report.

Some of the most important customers who are using ODL include MoneyGram, goLance, Viamericas, FlashFX, and Interbank Peru.

“There have been more than 7x the number of transactions using ODL from the end of Q1 to the end of October,” the official report reads.
