XRP (XRP): Ripple’s xRapid Is Finally Live!

For every XRP (XRP) holder out there, today, we have some excellent news for you. Ripple’s xRapid is finally live, and that’s great for the Ripple’s token as this kind of moves are only meant to boost the cryptocurrency’s value against the USD even further.

XRP (XRP) had a fabulous period in the past two weeks as the asset surged significantly and recovered some of the losses it experienced since January, this year.

About two weeks ago, Ripple’s token skyrocketed significantly by more than 100%. However, in the past seven days, the asset slowed down, and, at the moment of this writing, XRP (XRP) trades at $0.531, dropping by about 5% in the last 24 hours, while, in the past week, it decreased by 1%.

But, the bullish sentiment surrounding XRP is still intact, and, as Ripple announced the official launch of xRapid, the XRP (XRP) crypto token might surge even further.

Ripple’s xRapid is live and might help XRP (XRP) skyrocket even more

xRapid is the Ripple’s bet to solve the issues within the conventional cross-border payments systems that give people a lot of headaches and are also costly. With xRapid, international transactions would be handled in a matter of minutes, instead of at least 2-3 business days as it’s the case of the traditional remittance platforms.

Additional to this feature, Ripple’s xRapid makes use of XRP (XRP), the native cryptocurrency of the Ripple startup. That would boost the XRP use case which might eventually skyrocket Ripple’s token’s value against the USD even further.

Also, Ripple has already established partnerships with various payments processors and financial institutions which tested the xRapid platform before its launch. Now, that xRapid is live, those companies can use it in their day-to-day operations.

“In pilot tests, we saw the benefits of xRapid, and we’re excited to roll commercial payments out within the quarter. The time to replace slow, expensive payments architecture is now because the need for global access to smooth-flowing capital has never been so acute,” said Alastair Constance, CEO and founder of MercuryFX, one of Ripple’s partners.
