Cardano’s Latest Video Updates Users On Hardware Wallets, Testnet Upgrades And More – The Community Lacks Enthusiasm

A recent YouTube video that has been revealed by IOHK brought lots of updates on Cardano’s development roadmap.

After the Cardano’s mainnet which was launched in 2017, more and more investors have been seeking upgrades to the network that they hope will support ADA to become a top 5 crypto.

CryptoCompare reports that ADA is just ahead of XMR and behind BNB.

September brought a lot of upgrades for Cardano

Probably the most exciting news was the launch of the Yoroi wallet.

The light wallet offers massive speed, and it’s built into a Google Chrome plug-in while storing coins in the users’ browser.

The co-founder of IOHK and creator of ADA and its underlying technology, Charles Hoskinson, made this announcement on Twitter.

“Cardano (ADA) just got another wallet. Try it out and let me know how it works for you,” said Charles Hoskinson.

Other essential developments include expansion to Cardano’s marketing department. The company hired Florian Bohnert as Chief Marketing Officer.

Cardano also hired new community managers in China, Korea, and Japan, and are seeking to employ new translators and help desk leaders.

The video also explains what’s coming new for Cardano and it highlights the network upgrade – Cardano version 1.3.1.

The updates did not trigger much enthusiasm

Even if there are tons of upgrades on their way for Cardano, this does not seem to unleash too much interest and excitement in the community as it was expected.

ADA holders don’t seem to be too hyped as the developers. It’s true that there have been lots of developments, but many upgrades are also postponed as well.

For instance, the “Shelley” phase of upgrades, initially scheduled for 2018, has been pushed back to 2019.

This phase includes implementing Ouroboros, multi-signature transactions, human-friendly addresses, and quantum resistant signatures.

Redditors have been really concerned about postponing Shelley as you can see in the post here.
